I have always believed that knowledge and action are inseparable. Knowledge that is not translated into meaningful action for the benefit of individuals and society ultimately loses much of its true value.

Education is the most valuable investment in people. It enriches the mind, broadens perspectives, strengthens character, and develops the ability to lead, innovate, and contribute productively across all fields of human endeavor. Through knowledge, individuals become capable of creating positive and lasting impact within their communities.

I firmly believe that educated individuals are those best equipped to serve others, contribute to the advancement of their nation, and participate in building a more prosperous and sustainable future.

It was this conviction that inspired the establishment of Yarmouk Private University. Eng. Waleed Mohammad Al Zaabi is a distinguished Syrian entrepreneur, engineer, and Founder of Yarmouk Private University. He is also the Chairman of TIGER GROUP, one of the leading business groups in the United Arab Emirates, with successful investments spanning real estate, construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and education.

Driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of education, Eng. Al Zaabi established Yarmouk Private University in 2005 with a clear vision: to build an institution that inspires young people, develops their potential, and prepares graduates who combine knowledge with responsibility, innovation, and leadership.
