Study and Guidance Plan

The study plan aims to:

  1. Training Future Pharmacists: Equipping students with practical and theoretical knowledge to excel in pharmaceutical professions, production pharmacy, and healthcare sectors.
  2. Interactive Learning Approach: Implementing student-professor interaction methods to foster scientific thinking and creativity.
  3. Global Knowledge Transfer: Providing access to international pharmaceutical literature, books, translations, and scientific references.
  4. Encouraging Research & Innovation: Developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills to contribute to scientific advancements in pharmacy.


Programs

The Faculty of Informatics and Communication Engineering offers a five-year academic program with the following specializations:

  1. University Requirements: Courses designed to broaden general knowledge and enhance communication skills.
  2. Faculty Requirements: Core courses in pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, and microbiology, complemented by practical training in pharmaceutics, clinical pharmacy, and biopharmaceutics.
  3. Department/Specialization Requirements: Advanced courses in drug formulation, pharmacovigilance, medical informatics, and hospital pharmacy practice.


Objectives

  1. Training graduates to meet the demands of the pharmaceutical industry, clinical pharmacy, and research institutions.
  2. Developing self-learning skills and lifelong education in pharmaceutical sciences.
  3. Ensuring proficiency in pharmaceutical databases, digital health applications, and medical informatics.
  4. Strengthening students’ abilities to communicate professionally in both Arabic and medical English.
  5. Encouraging participation in pharmaceutical research and applying evidence-based principles in healthcare settings.

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Yarmouk Private University strives to become one of the most distinguished institutions in pharmaceutical education and scientific research at the Arab and regional levels.

Our mission is to prepare highly qualified pharmaceutical professionals capable of excelling across various pharmaceutical fields, including pharmacies, drug stores, pharmaceutical laboratories, medical analysis labs, hospitals, training institutions, and pharmaceutical education.

We are committed to fostering critical thinking, creativity, and self-learning skills.
