As part of the series of events and activities organized by Yarmouk Private University, and within its ongoing commitment to academic excellence and connecting the university with the community, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Jamal Al-Abbas, President of the University, and in the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Ismail, Head of the Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate, Professor Dr. Muhammad Amer Al-Mardini, Head of the Syrian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Union, Dr. Talal Al-Ajlani, Treasurer of the Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Bashar Al-Homsi, Head of the Damascus Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Talib Al-Masri, Head of the Daraa Pharmacists Syndicate, and members of the Daraa Pharmacists Syndicate, the scientific event of the Faculty of Pharmacy, entitled "The Reality and Prospects of the Pharmacy Profession in Syria," was inaugurated today. Also present at the opening of the event were the Vice Presidents of the University, Deans and their deputies, members of the University's administrative staff, and the dear students of the Faculty of Pharmacy. After welcoming the attendees by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Muzna Al-Khani, the President of the University stated... His speech emphasized that education is incomplete without a strong connection to the job market, and that the university is working diligently to provide a comprehensive learning environment that integrates academic and practical aspects. He added that launching the first pharmaceutical exhibition at the university is not a one-off event, but rather a promising start to a series of exhibitions that will serve as a platform for creativity and excellence, and a space for exchanging experiences among students, graduates, and professionals.

The President of the Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate, in his speech, highlighted the importance of the pharmacy profession and the development of work in broad fields related to it.

Dr. Muhammad Amer Al-Mardini delivered a speech on developing Syrian pharmaceutical production and emphasizing the importance of applying Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), given its significant positive impact on the standing of Syrian pharmaceuticals both globally and locally.

Following this, a dialogue session was held between the distinguished guests and the esteemed attendees, including professors and students from the Faculty of Pharmacy. During this session, most of the issues and problems faced by practicing pharmacists and pharmacy students were discussed. In conclusion, the virtual pharmacy, dedicated to training and preparing pharmacy students for their professional careers after graduation, was inaugurated. 💐

The first pharmaceutical exhibition, showcasing pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, 💐 prepared by a number of pharmacy students 💊🩺🧴🧪 under the supervision of professors specializing in the pharmaceutical industry, was also opened.

The event continues tomorrow at the College of Pharmacy.
