This theoretical and practical course introduces the fundamental concepts and principles of color theory. It examines the nature of color, hue, value, and intensity, as well as the major color theories, color classification systems, color groups, and the dynamics of color relationships. The course explores the application of color in artistic composition and design, with emphasis on color harmony, visual perception, symbolic meanings, and the physical and psychological effects of color. Through practical studio exercises, students develop the ability to apply color effectively in two-dimensional and three-dimensional compositions, considering the interaction between form and space.
