Description
This theoretical and practical studio course focuses on the design of interior spaces for public and commercial facilities, including community centers, hospitals, healthcare clinics, hotels, restaurants, cafés, and highway rest areas. Students explore design concepts and their application within interior environments, emphasizing the integration of spatial organization, functionality, aesthetics, and user experience. The course develops students’ ability to translate design concepts into comprehensive interior design solutions through professional design methodologies. As part of the studio requirements, students produce complete project documentation, including floor plans, sections, elevations, working drawings, perspective renderings, physical scale models, analytical studies, and a concise design report explaining the project's concept and design rationale.
