Description
This theoretical and practical studio course focuses on the interior design of public buildings and transportation environments, including railway stations, airports, universities, and transportation vehicles such as trains, aircraft, ships, and similar facilities. The course aims to deepen students’ expertise in interior design by addressing complex public environments and emphasizing the integration of interior design with other engineering and architectural disciplines. Students develop functional, technical, and aesthetically responsive design solutions that meet institutional requirements and user needs. Studio projects require the preparation of comprehensive design documentation, including floor plans, sections, elevations, working drawings, perspective renderings, physical scale models, and a design report that presents the project concept, theoretical framework, and design rationale.
