Description


 This theoretical and practical course provides an introduction to the history and evolution of photography, together with the fundamental principles and techniques of photographic practice. Students become familiar with photographic equipment, studio tools, camera operation, and the technical processes involved in image capture, film processing, printing, and enlargement. The course covers both black-and-white and color photography, emphasizing their creative and technical applications in the visual arts, particularly graphic design. It also introduces the principles of digital photography and electronic imaging, including digital image processing, printing technologies, and the evolution of photographic tools in the era of information technology. Furthermore, the course examines the applications of photography in animation, interior design, television production, advertising, and other contemporary visual communication fields.
