The study aimed to determine the impact of some factors specific to private conventional banks listed on the Damascus Securities Exchange on their stock prices. To achieve this, the researchers collected the necessary data on all private conventional banks listed on the Damascus Securities Exchange, amounting to eleven banks, during the period 2012-2023. The behavior of the dependent variable, represented by the stock closing prices at the end of the fiscal year, and the independent variables represented by the book value per share, earnings per share, return on assets, return on equity, bank asset size, and exchange rate, was studied. The use of statistical techniques such as the correlation matrix and the random effects model showed the following results:
- There is a negative but statistically insignificant effect of both return on assets and return on equity on the market stock price of private conventional banks listed on the Damascus Securities Exchange.

- There is a positive and statistically significant effect of the exchange rate on the market stock price of private conventional banks listed on the Damascus Securities Exchange.
