The study aimed to analyze the impact of bank operational characteristics on the
quality of financial reporting in private banks listed on the Damascus Securities
Exchange.
To achieve the study's objectives, the researchers applied the study to a sample of ten
Syrian private banks listed on the Damascus Securities Exchange at the end of 2023
for the period 2019–2023. They also provided recommendations to improve
transparency and attract investment.
