This course is designed to provide immediate and temporary appropriate assistance to a sick or injured person so that medical treatment can be provided. Also to apply patient assessment skills to pharmacy practice settings. It also addresses the signs, symptoms and general rules of first aid care commonly encountered life-threatening emergencies.
