This course aims to: - Introduce students to the different types of human immunity and immune response, and identify the mechanisms involved in the immune response, and recognize the principles of the relationships between antigens and antibodies, and describe the biology of the immune system. - Identify the role of the complementary system, and show the genetic basis for the synthesis, development, function and immunopathology of antibodies. - Mention cellular reactions and activation of immune cells, showing the cellular and physiological consequences of immune responses. - Identification of immune diseases .
