This course gives the students a global vision of securities traded in capital markets, and discusses the characteristics of stocks, bonds, options, futures and the evaluation techniques of every security. The course covers the technical and fundamental analysis and its role in investment decision making, and discusses the concept of risk and return and the composition of the optimal portfolio. The topics of portfolio performance and mutual funds are also discussed
