Description
The course introduces student to fundamental concepts of surveying and geodesy that useful for engineers. Topics: introduction to surveying, distance measurement with a tape and EDM, the level and leveling, contouring, vertical and cross sections, theodolites and total stations, traversing, detail surveying and digital mapping, setting out the roads and sewers, layout the buildings, calculation of areas and volumes.
